The national roots day is a day of life that I want to see your mind-numbingly familiar images and thoughts on every aspect of your life.
Today I have a guest post from a girl named Amy. Amy is a writer and blogger from the state of Virginia. I love Amy’s blog because it highlights things that are common and not that common across the country. Her blog is called The Bump of the Day and it is filled with great content and fun things to do. Amy is also a part of the Roots for America team.
In the coming days, I’ll be writing a series of posts on national roots day and how to participate. You can also follow me on Twitter and Facebook. I am a member of the Roots for America team, so I will be reporting on what other teams are doing.
National Roots Day is an annual event where people from all walks of life come together to celebrate the rich history of America. There is a lot of history here and it is often a very moving and emotional experience to see the various ethnicities of the country come together to celebrate.
I am very much looking forward to participating in this event and connecting with members of all ethnicities from around the world. I’m a self professed “old school” American, but I have an affinity for the ethnicities of the country and am looking forward to helping to bring the diverse communities together to celebrate.
That’s why this event is called national roots day, a day to remember and honor all the various ethnicities of America.
The concept of national roots day is simple. You know, “we should be working together to grow our country.” That’s what this event is about. It’s about celebrating the diversity of our country and the different cultures and customs that are integral to the national makeup of our beautiful land.
For those of us that are of Asian descent, a lot of us are here to celebrate because it’s a national day of national pride. We’re here to celebrate the various ethnicities of America and to honor the many cultures that have blended to become one of the most diverse and beautiful nations in the world. National roots day is a time to show off our country’s history and celebrate the contributions of many diverse cultures.
Yes, I know. We’re probably talking to the wrong people.
The problem here is that were talking to the wrong people. National roots day is a day for people to show off their ethnic pride. We should celebrate this day because that day is a day to celebrate the many cultures that have blended together to become one of the most diverse and beautiful nations in the world.
