This survey was conducted by the Pollution Control Board of the American Environmental Protection Agency (AAPA). As part of its study, AAPA was able to collect and analyze data on greenhouse gas emissions in many areas including California, Ohio, and Texas.
They found that the majority of the residents in these areas are unaware of the greenhouse gas emissions. This is largely because the polluters have been hiding their emissions from these people. So we decided to ask people about the emissions and see if they knew about them.
We asked people whether they thought emissions were a big deal. And, like many other things on this list, people don’t think they are. Only 37% of people think emissions are a big deal.
